Babymoon!

This past weekend Dutch and I went off on a little babymoon ... our last vacation alone together as a family of two. It was so nice to just enjoy being away together with nothing planned... something we actually hadn't done since our honeymoon. Sure we were able to travel the past few years, Boston, Austin, Dallas, Hilton Head, trips to see our family etc, but we were always running around getting to a wedding or spending time with our friends and family. We had such a blast doing that the past few years and seeing some great new places, we had lost track of our own time together.

We drove down to Destin, Florida which is on the gulf coast. It is absolutely beautiful. I was a broken record all weekend stating just how amazing it was. We had rented a condo right on the beach. we were on the first floor and our patio stepped out onto the pool and the beach boardwalk. It was a dream. The weather was perfect, we saw some dolphins, ate some seafood, got sunburned, listened to reggae music, and just relaxed. I even found a place that served virgin strawberry daiquiris!
