The hotties and I went to sips n strokes last Saturday night for some much needed sipping and strokin. We attempted a Monet painting , water lillies. I feel it was dumbed down a little too much for my artistic tastes and my SIL and I vowed to stop trying to copy famous paintings. We usually end up slightly disappointed. It was fun though!!

My Valentine

Happy Valenties Day to all of my friends and family! Ravi and I wore red shirts today and shared a long walk, a grilled cheese and lots of snuggles... lol At least I got to see one of my men today. I gave Dutch a card with 2 cartoon iguanas on it. The inside said iguana love you forever.... it was perfect.

1. What is your favorite childhood memory?

Camping with my family, Summers in Toledo eating ice cream at Independent dairy

2. What is your favorite quality about yourself?

hmmm my creativity and hostessness (is that a word?) and my easy going personality

3. What is your favorite thing that your child does?

The closest thing I have to a child right now is Ravi who has started giving me hugs. He runs across the room to hug my legs real tight. Makes me melt : ) He also has started to love sitting in my lap. I sit Indian style (btw is that politically incorrect now? Deven calls it criss cross apple sauce) and he just backs up until he plops right in my lap. So cute.

4. What is your favorite thing to do to relax?

Go shopping, lay out in the hammock on a nice day, be with my husband on the deck, camping, photographing anything, napping on the couch,

5. What is your favorite restaurant? And what is your favorite thing on the menu?

For Asian food I love Orient Express. For southern food I love south city kitchen, for BBQ I love BBQ1, I also love to frequent Teds, Wild Wings, Chepes, any place that serves warm croissants with honey butter drizzled on them.... yumm

6. What is your favorite piece of jewelry (besides your wedding ring)?

My diamond studs for sure. I have worn them almost everyday for years.... is that sanitary? lol

 

7. What is your favorite night of the week M-TH? And why?

Thursday! Its my Friday! and I get paid!

8. What is your favorite dessert?

Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate mousse, a really decadent chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry sauce, hostess cupcakes...lol

Lately I have become OBSESSED with Nutella and strawberries... : )

9. What is your favorite item in your make-up bag?

Tie, my black eyeliner and eyeliner brush, and Mascara. You cant have one with out the other : )

10. What is your favorite smell?

Clean sheets, men's cologne on my husband : ) , campfire, baked cookies, .... I love the smell of coconut although I hate to eat it... It reminds me of suntan lotion and the beach.
