Freaking awesome

So, call me a nerd, but my favorite movie of all time is Sound of Music. I can sing, act and dance the entire movie for you if you like.... And I guess I am kinda like Maria being a nanny now, and I am kinda like Lisle , so much in love, and since my birthday is the same as Hitlers... its just a great fit. (lol)

This cold weather recently is making me crave these bad boys......

UPS!

Dutch has his UPS driver training all this week! We are super excited but it is a lot of work. They are crazy about details, from making sure you wear the right socks, (UPS brown of course) to checking your mirrors every 4-6 seconds, they have outlined every tiny detail on how UPS's great drivers deliver each and every package the same as the next.

Its early mornings for Dutch (alarm off at 530 ugh....) but we have our nights together! (yeah! finally) Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well and there will be some routes avaliable over the next few months.

I came across this t shirt on the internet that I should get.... but then I realized its probably not for proud wives as much as it is for flirty receptionists????? crap....

Whew, that was fast

6 years ago today , Dutch and I went on our very first date. We went to dinner at Pacific and Vine, a restaurant at the Avenue East Cobb. It was very romantic. We spent the next 6 years with each other traveling to places such as San Francisco, Napa Valley, Yosemite, San Diego, Texas, Ohio, and Punta Cana. Lots of camping and fishing trips, 2 dogs, a house, and a wedding later, here we are married for just over a year and loving every moment together. We have our ups and downs especially with this economy but I couldn't have asked for a better companion. We are looking forward to our hard work over the past few years paying off and being able to really enjoy married life together and see what the next 6 years has in store for us! : )

Braves Game!

Thursday night I was able to get free tickets from a friend of mine to the Braves game. Senica and I got to go have a girls night and enjoy a hot dog, and the crisp September air...which watching the Braves loose miserably....ugh.

Dutch and I are going tonight (his birthday present) to a 8pm game. It will be on ESPN so check it out!

Fall 2010 Camping Trip!

Dutch, Taylor, Dallas and I just got home from our awesome fall camping trip. We drove up to Desoto Falls campground which is part of the Chattahoochee national forest. (Shout out to the national forest service) We scoped out a prime spot right on the river. We were able to sleep every night listening to the sounds of the water which was awesome.

After putting up our new hammock (so awesome) we enjoyed a long weekend of camping, fishing, campfire cooking, laughing and being together as a family. The girls loved it and we really enjoyed watching them experience new things like sleeping in a tent, wading through rivers, and hiking to waterfalls.
