7 Months!

Well I am a little behind on this but I wanted to make sure I got this posted before she was 8 months! I'm cooped up inside this beautiful weekend dealing with a poison Ivy/Oak rash. Ends up its not the best thing to get while breastfeeding (but more on that later).

Date: April 9th 2013

Stats: If I had to guess, she is around 16lbs? We don't have a doctor appointment until July so I wont really have an accurate measurement till then.

Clothes: She is wearing 6 months clothes. Most of her 3-6 months pants look like capris now but I guess that is ok with this weather. Her 6th months pants are still a little baggy in the waist. She is in size 2 diapers.

Sleep: She is sleeping through the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O M G . So great. Ends up she must have just really needed those extra calories at night. When she used to wake at night it was only to eat and then she went right back to sleep. Now that she is getting her solids during the day she sleeps like a champ. She stays in bed for 12 hours. Her naps during the day are great and we are in a great routine.

Food: She eats one meal of solids a day, nurses twice and has 3 breastmilk bottles at daycare. I have started making her veggies home made and freezing them. I need to work on her fruits next. Its so easy and saves a lot of $$. She eats sweet potatoes, squash, green beans, (hates peas), peaches, apples, prunes and pears.

This past month the weather has been beautiful. We sit out on the deck as much as possible. Dutch was super dad one weekend while I went away to camp with the girls for a few nights. He did great and you guys had a lot of fun together. You are great at sitting up. You love to smile and laugh. You are ticklish and enjoy playing peek a boo. We celebrated my birthday this month, took lots of long walks at the river park, and bounced A LOT in our exercauser. You are such a fun baby and love running errands and grocery shopping on the weekend. You really enjoy your voice and Mrs. Sherri at day care has started calling you the
teradactyl. We cant wait to enjoy summer with you!
