Dutch and I got to celebrate last weekend with my Bro and SIL at the Braves game. It was super last minute, and thanks to Chris' AAA card we got BOGO seats. (buy one get one) We were able to celebrate Dutchs big news of the new job. The weather was amazing, low 70s that day, clear skys. We lost.... but it was still an awesome night. Fridays they have fire works which were pretty amazing. Check out some of my pics!

Celebrate - The Morgan Recession is over!
Dutch just got a full time job last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who knows this realizes this is a major major major deal. After leaving the real estate industry as a real estate broker owning his own real estate business, the economy hasn't been so friendly. After I got laid of May of 2009 Dutch had been underemployed for over a year. Working part time at UPS has giving us some stability of a steady paycheck and unbelievable health benefits. Dutch worked some day jobs over the past 2 years in turf maintenance and also at the UPS store. This latest job is just what we have been waiting for.
He is working full time at Panmet Group which does international freight forwarding. He will be managing clients, dealing with customs, trade agreements, scheduling flights for freight shipments etc. He has his own desk, works 4 miles from our house, has a very casual dress code, works with 6 guys of similar age, and has great potential for job growth.
He will continue to work at UPS in the evenings until things are settled and especially until he gets his 90 day raise. Only issue is that they don't currently offer health care. So hopefully by the time we feel comfortable with him not working at UPS they will have a plan. Also, if I am able to get into a full time design job again I would most likely have benefits through them.
We are beyond thankful for everyone who has been there supporting us in many ways over the past few years. This has been long time coming. We have been through a lot, learned a lot, and most importantly, gained a new appreciation for even the smallest things.
We look forward to finally enjoying the summer as a married couple! Maybe we will be able to leave the house some weekends lol. Hopefully there will be more to blog about. Not just because we will have a little more flexibility financially, but because our spirits are lifted.

2 April days noted for deadly events
So today I celebrate my 27th birthday. Kinda feel off this year
It's a Wednesday, dutch and I won't see each other, my best friend is 100s of
Miles away, I have to deal with ravis temper tantrums all day, and maybe birthdays
Are getting to the age where you start not to look forward to them. I kinda just feel in
Limbo. not old, not young. Mostly I hope to get through the day without any
Massacres, natural disasters, people asking me how I have a birthday on 420,
(Universal code for pot smoking) and don't do drugs. Lol what a day. Check out
This article I found about crappy things associated with my birthday.
Enjoy!

Dutch and I had a nice low key cook out this weekend to celebrate my upcoming birthday. It was relaxing, included texas bbq/brisket, a homemade 3 layer cake, a fire on the deck, and our new ring toss game. It was nice to relax and visit with a lot of our friends. I only got a few pics : ( but here you go.

Spring weekends!
Our last two weekends have been full of beautiful weather, chores around the house, relaxation, and just enjoying our free time together. After our 9 day vacay extravaganza (post to come soon) we welcomed a few weekends in.
Last weekend we had a fire on our deck which was awesome. We're still burning through wood from the limbs dutch took down last spring. We also took long walks with the girls both days. They loved it and were really to resume their normal position (sleeping on the floor) as soon as we got home. This weekend we got a new house plant for inside, a few flowers for the deck, and seeds to start growing vegetables. Anyone who knows Dutch knows we go through jalapenos like they are going out of style. We are going to try our hand at peppers and tomatoes. Wish us luck!

Little bit about me....
Stole this from my SIL like every other blog post it seems.... Here's a bunch of random info about me : )
{one} if you won a trip to Disneyland/world, who would you take with you? Dutch of course but I would try to sneak Jack in my purse!
{two} when was the last time you listened to a CD? This morning on the way to work. Its called "Austin Road Trip Mix" loves it. Full of Mumford & Sons and Avett Brothers
{three} what spice/seasoning is your favorite? If Dutch answered this for me he would say none... lol I like cinnamon, sugar, taco seasoning? lol
{four} if you were in a band, what kind of music would you play? Modern Folk? I would jam out on a banjo. i.e. Mumford & Sons
{five} if you could have personally witnessed one historical event, which one would it be? This is a hard one, a lot of things seem cool but also scary... The first voyage of the Titanic would have been awesome but not the whole dying part.
{six} if you could go back to school, what would you study? I have pretty much zero desire to go back to school but i would totally study photography and graphic design.
{seven} if you could go to one sporting event, all expenses paid, which one would you see? Olympics opening ceremony
{eight} do you drive an automatic or a manual? Automatic. However I learned to drive on a manual... not so much fun. Every time I stalled and the car jerked my dad called it a bronco. As I got better he would say, good job Sarah, only a few broncos this time.
{nine} are you comfortable speaking in front of people? {ten} have you ever experienced an earthquake? Nope but I did experience a tsunami... ok maybe just a really big wave hit me while I was standing in 2' of water lol... gotta love Destin....
I would rather not but If I have to , I do it well. In school I was always complimented on my presentation skills. Now just saying something impromptu to people on the fly ... not so much.
